We’ve done it again! Winners of Yorkshire’s Best Arable Farm 2024

Our sister company, Lightwater Farms, had the pleasure of attending the prestigious 2024 Yorkshire Post Rural Awards at the Pavilions in Harrogate last week, securing the top spot as Yorkshire’s ‘Arable Farm of the Year’. This is a huge achievement for our Farm Manager, Jonathan Fryatt, and his dedicated team. This is actually the second award our farm has won this year, with Jonathan also being recognised as Northern Farmer’s ‘Farm Manager of the Year 2024’. Needless to say, it’s been a great year for our farming business and we’re delighted that our commitment to the underlying principles of ‘Regenerative Agriculture’ have been publicly recognised! In short, our farm is focused on doing everything it can to optimise the quality of our soils by enabling nature to do what it does best, as opposed to using energy hungry machinery and chemicals to replace these processes.
